The University, through its Conferences and Special Programs Office, has worked for years with the Aroostook Regional Gifted and Talented Program to provide a fun and interactive learning space for local gifted and talented students to expand their knowledge in areas from the visual arts to competitive problem solving. These events, held throughout the school year, allow elementary to high school age students to become acclimated to a college campus setting and enjoy lunch in our cafeteria.
Our Conferences and Special Programs is happy to work with other groups who would like to coordinate similar activities on our campus. For more information, please contact Lydia Kieffer-Till at 207-768-9502 or lydia.kieffer@maine.edu.
