Practicums in the Health Administration program at UMPI provide students with hands-on experience in the healthcare field, bridging academic knowledge with real-world application. Online offering

For students who want to pursue Health Administration and are looking for an option that is 100% online, UMPI will soon have a new addition to its lineup of YourPace program offerings. The learning modality for all YourPace offerings is asynchronous, meaning students will be able to learn on their own schedules and at their own pace. They’ll also get dedicated faculty, academic success coaches, and professional academic advisors to help support them through degree completion. More information on this exciting development will be coming soon.

Certifications

Our Health Administration program prepares you for a variety of healthcare and public health certifications upon graduation:

  • CHES Credential – Certified Health Education Specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing
  • CWP Credential – Certified Wellness Practitioner
  • Students can complete Public Health Trainings through the Maine CDC while a student or post-graduation to deepen their knowledge in select public health topics
