The French Minor at the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) offers students an opportunity to enhance their linguistic skills and cultural understanding of the Francophone world. The program is designed to complement a variety of majors, providing valuable cross-cultural communication skills beneficial in numerous professional fields. Students engage in immersive language experiences, studying French language, literature, and culture, and have opportunities for practical application through community involvement and potential study abroad programs.
