Nursing Program at the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI)

The University of Maine at Presque Isle has partnered with the University of Maine at Fort Kent to offer their accredited baccalaureate nursing program to students that are place-bound and therefore unable to travel to Fort Kent. All of the coursework in the UMFK BSN program will be delivered on the UMPI campus.

Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Graduates are employed in a variety of practice settings to assist individuals, families, and communities to maintain, promote, and optimize their health and well-being.
