Accounting Internship Opportunities
Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber of Commerce is seeking a mature student in the business program to develop and set up a “Made in Aroostook” sales and promotion program. The intern will support vendors who may be starting their business or looking for an additional opportunity to display their products. The student would be asked to prepare the display area, arrange the accounting for the receipt and sale of goods, develop supplier contacts and relations, in conjunction with the office staff. There would be a need to present the information to the media for promotion of the location. The student would also be responsible for maintaining inventory and may also be asked to assist with general office activities. If you are interested in the opportunity, please contact:

DFAS Limestone is accepting resumes from graduates as well as students who will be graduating next year. You should indicate on your resume what accounting and accounting-related (such as business law) courses you have taken.
Loring Commerce Center
The bio-mass power generating facility at Loring Commerce Center needs a summer intern. The intern would need to be comfortable doing mathematical analysis using spreadsheets. For this the candidate will have to be “good at algebra” and be very familiar with Microsoft Excel.
