Owl’s Nest and Spirit Store Hours during Homecoming are: Monday-Friday (Sept. 9-13), 7 a.m.-10 p.m.; Saturday (Sept. 14), 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Please stop by Preble Hall to visit the offices and staff. There will be goodies to eat and drink and a gift basket raffle.

Convocation and BBQ Lunch
11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Gentile Hall
Join us for our annual Convocation event where we welcome our incoming class and celebrate all UMPI Owls. A BBQ lunch will follow, outside Gentile Hall, weather permitting.

Lawn games and Spirit Spin
2-4 p.m., Campus Center (rain location: Owl’s Nest/Clubhouse)
Spin the wheel for UMPI swag and enjoy games on the lawn. Everyone welcome!

Athletics Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser
4:30-6 p.m., Campus Center MPR
Enjoy delicious spaghetti, salad, rolls, and homemade desserts. Cost is $10 per person and there will be a 50/50 raffle.

Lip Sync Battle Please note: This event has been cancelled
6:30 p.m., Campus Center MPR
Calling all music lovers! UMPI students, faculty, and staff will be competing for prizes and bragging rights during this third annual event. There is absolutely no singing allowed but dance moves and spot-on lip syncing are encouraged. Mark your calendars!

Faculty Radio Interview
9 a.m.
Tune in to WUPI 92.1 FM to hear Evan Zarkadas, President of the UMPI Alumni Association, talk with a faculty member and a student about their current research.

Greenhouse Open House
9-11 a.m., Zillman Family Greenhouse
Please stop by the Zillman Family Greenhouse for a visit. There will be goodies to eat and drink, a petting zoo, and a fun family activity for all visitors to enjoy.

Snowy Owl Marketplace
9 a.m.-3 p.m., Gentile Hall
This Homecoming favorite returns! The Snowy Owl Marketplace will feature a full slate of crafters and artisans, live music, food, and more! From 11 a.m.-12 p.m., enjoy a Snowy Owl Art Battle–prepare to bid on your favorite painting!

Historical tour covering various aspects of UMPI’s history. Kim Smith will serve as tour guide.
