“My wings have kept me in The County, residing in my home town, Houlton, with my husband, Thomas Wire (UMPI ’08). In Houlton, I currently work for the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians as the Education Director. I enjoy serving the tribal members and reaching career and educational goals. Working with students, especially those attending UMPI, is a special feeling. I have created such great working relations with UMPI staff. With that, my wings have allowed me and my husband to remain involved with UMPI events, in particular, Homecoming Weekend, which we both enjoy very much!”
