Aroostook State Park will host its Winter Family Fun Day on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The park is located at Echo Lake, west off U.S. Route 1, south of Presque Isle. Enjoy cross-country skiing, sliding, snowshoeing, and tote sled rides. The cost is $1.50 for ages 12-64, all others are free and this includes a hot dog lunch. You can also visit the warming hut for coffee and cocoa. The Maine State Parks Ski & Snowshoe Trailer will also be available with free snowshoe and cross-country ski rentals.
