UMPI to offer new Master’s degree to support workforce needs

With a focus on meeting state workforce needs and providing working adults with a direct, affordable, and entirely online pathway to a postgraduate degree and subsequent career advancement, the University of Maine at Presque Isle is establishing a Master of Science in Business (MSB) degree program. As UMPI’s second-ever master’s degree, the high-demand program includes 10 associated concentrations and serves as the newest addition to UMPI’s YourPace offerings.

A special tree in the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Campus Center is one of more than a dozen Trent’s Trees across the state on display to help those who are coping with grief and loss during the holidays. This interactive holiday project was created by the Maine-based nonprofit Stay; For Life.

Libra Lecture Series presents AI expert

Edward Watson, author and Vice President for Digital Innovation at the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), as the next speaker in its 2024-2025 Libra Distinguished Lecture Series on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. in the Campus Center.
