The University of Maine at Presque Isle welcomed 9 new faculty and staff in the first part of the 2020-2021 academic year.
The University of Maine at Presque Isle hosted its seventh annual Take Back the Night event, a peaceful, socially-distanced candlelight walk to raise community awareness for sexual and domestic violence on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m., in front of South Hall. This annual event was co-sponsored by the UMPI Black Student Union and Student Organization of Social Workers. The gathering was free to attend and everyone who participated followed social distancing guidelines.
