Reed Gallery presents Langlais’ World

The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Reed Art Gallery presents Langlais’ World, from March 3 to April 21, 2023. The exhibition will feature a selection from its large collection of original artworks by Maine native and internationally renowned artist Bernard Langlais, including sculptures, paintings, drawings, constructions, and sketchbooks. Some of these works will be seen for the first time since they were gifted to UMPI by the Kohler Foundation.

Cathie Pelletier delivers reading at UMPI Feb. 2

Belle Isle Books publishes Zuras’ fourth book

University of Maine at Presque Isle Professor of English and Creative Writing Richard Lee Zuras has a new book—his fourth—that will be released on Dec. 7. Mining Your Past: A Creative Writing Professor’s Guide: Writing Stories, Poetry, & Song Lyrics, published by Belle Isle Books, will be available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

UMPI hosts seminar on rare earth elements discovery
