Reed Gallery presents “UMPI Fine Arts Faculty”

The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Reed Art Gallery will present UMPI Fine Arts Faculty, featuring original artwork by all five members of UMPI’s Fine Arts studio faculty, from Sept. 6 to 27, 2024. The public is invited to view the exhibition throughout the show’s run and attend the Opening Reception on Friday, Sept. 6, from 6-8 p.m. The artists will be on hand to discuss their work. This reception is being held in conjunction with the Presque Isle First Friday Art Walk. The Reed Gallery is located on the second floor of the University’s Center for Innovative Learning.

The show will feature over 30 works of art, including paintings, drawings, mixed media, ceramic sculptures, and photography, by J. Donald Cyr, Rowena McPherson, Heather Nunez-Olmstead, Dylan Ouellette, and Frank Sullivan.

“The visual arts program is a vital part of curriculum at the University of Maine at Presque Isle”, Gallery Director Frank Sullivan said, “and I am excited to present this exhibition and celebrate the original work by the diverse and talented Studio Arts Faculty at UMPI and share it with the community.”

UMPI Fine Arts Faculty will be on display at the Reed Art Gallery and available for public viewing through Sept. 27, 2024.

Gallery hours are:
Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Sunday, 2-10 p.m.

The Reed Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the Center for Innovative Learning.
