Photos of IT Men Restoration at UMPI
The University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) is excited to announce the restoration of the iconic “IT Men” sculptures, which have become a celebrated part of Maine’s art and music legacy. These 20-foot-tall, lime-green figures were originally constructed as traffic control figures for a Phish music festival before finding a long-term home at UMPI. Now, exactly 12 years after their official installation at UMPI’s Pullen Hall, the IT Men sculptures are being entrusted to the skilled hands of the Maine Cabin Masters for refurbishment and display at their venue, The Woodshed, in Manchester, Maine.
