Emerson Hall is a traditional co-ed residence hall with singles and doubles that primarily accommodates upperclassmen. With a capacity for approximately 153 residents, the building is staffed by 1 professional staff member and 5 Resident Assistants. Emerson Hall 1st and 2nd floor was renovated in summer 2023. Emerson 3rd floor will be renovated in summer 2024.

• 1 Laundry room per floor (free for all residents)
• Resident Assistant Office. RA’s on call from 8PM-8AM
• Main community lounge containing TV, ping pong table and community kitchen
• Pool Table & Ping Pong Table
• OwlCuts (designated space for residents to cut and dye their hair)
• Vending machines on the first floor 
• Wheelchair accessible
• Gender Neutral Housing
• 1 Disability/Gender Neutral, 6 male, and 6 female designated bathroom 
• Building HVAC notes:
  • Air conditioning – Emerson Hall is NOT an air-conditioned building. Residents are highly encouraged to bring fans.
  • Heat – heat is provided mid-Fall through Spring through a centralized building system. Each room has a thermostat which allows residents to set the temperature of the room to +/- 10°F from the building temperature.

This building has five types of room layout: Single, Medical Single, Medical Single with Bathroom, Double, and Double Plus.
