Emerson Hall is a traditional co-ed residence hall with singles and doubles that primarily accommodates upperclassmen. With a capacity for approximately 153 residents, the building is staffed by 1 professional staff member and 5 Resident Assistants. Emerson Hall 1st and 2nd floor was renovated in summer 2023. Emerson 3rd floor will be renovated in summer 2024.

- 1 Disability/Gender Neutral, 6 male, and 6 female designated bathroom
- Building HVAC notes:
- Air conditioning – Emerson Hall is NOT an air-conditioned building. Residents are highly encouraged to bring fans.
- Heat – heat is provided mid-Fall through Spring through a centralized building system. Each room has a thermostat which allows residents to set the temperature of the room to +/- 10°F from the building temperature.

This building has five types of room layout: Single, Medical Single, Medical Single with Bathroom, Double, and Double Plus.
