Things that make Merriman Hall a great place to live:
Merriman Hall is a traditional co-ed residence hall with singles and doubles that primarily accommodates freshmen and upperclassmen. With a capacity for approximately 75 residents, the building is staffed by 1 professional staff member and 3 Resident Assistants.
For the current school year, the floors are designated as follows:
- Merriman 1st Floor- Gender Neutral
- Merriman 2nd Floor- Male
- Merriman 3rd Floor- Female
Building Amenities
- 3 Floors
- 1 Elevator
- 1 Laundry on the first floor (free for all residents)
- Resident Assistant Office. RA’s on call (staffed 8PM-8AM)
- Main community lounge containing TV, pool table and community kitchenette
- 1 Lounge on each floor
- Vending Machines on the first floor
- Wheelchair accessible
- 1 Gender Neutral, 1 male, and 1 female designated bathroom
- Building HVAC notes:
- Air conditioning – do note that Merriman Hall is NOT an air-conditioned building. Residents are highly encouraged to bring fans.
- Heat – heat is provided mid-Fall through Spring through a centralized building system. Each room has a thermostat which allows residents to set the temperature of the room to +/- 10°F from the building temperature.

This building has four types of room layout: Single, Medical Single, Double, and Double Plus.
